I teach several courses offered by the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, as well as administer courses, scheduling, and grading. I run a laboratory course for non-majors. I also act as advisor for several classes of undergraduate Biochemistry majors.
In the Fall semesters I coordinate a joint graduate and undergraduate course (115:511 and 694:407, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry) as well as teach 694:301. In the Spring semesters, I teach Introductory Biochemistry 694:301, and part of the MBB course (115:512/694:408). I also run four sections of Introductory Biochemistry Laboratory 694:313 each Spring semester. I have participate in events like the Faculty Forum, and have had contact with bright high school students planning to come to Rutgers.
I am on the Department Advising Committee, and in the Fall of 1996 I helped start the Biochemistry Club for undergraduates, and am still the advisor to that club.
