Summary on Gene of Interest: Due the week of 4/03-4/9 Your summary of the gene on which you will give your presentation is due today. It should contain the following information: insert size, gene identified, cosmid the gene was found on, what portion of the gene does your insert represent (for example, part of exon 2 of the gene), the function of this gene product if known, are there any homologs of this gene in C. elegans or orthologs in other organisms, the role of the other orthologs if known, any structural data known about your gene product. |
